Why these communities
The families we serve earn their living in harvest fields, brick kilns and on building sites. Most cannot afford a private school, and in many places Christian children meet discrimination at school and quietly drop out. A Maranatha school gives them a safe classroom close to home, free of charge.
Each school follows the government syllabus and puts Bible teaching first, so that children grow in knowledge and in faith together.

Primary classes meeting in the church premises in Dina, with the pastor's house used as classroom space while the search for a proper building goes on.

A village of more than 300 families, among them over 30 Christian families whose fathers mostly work as day labourers on farms, building sites and brick kilns.
